Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand Results of Election

NOTICE is hereby given of the results of an election of members of the Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand held on 22 November 1977.

Auckland District

Five candidates were nominated for three vacancies. 584 ballot papers were issued, 367 were returned and the poll resulted:

J. M. Bielby (Mrs) ....... 140 votes
D. E. Buckle ............ 275 votes
J. S. Danby ............ 203 votes
R. J. Milicich ......... 142 votes
B. T. Tidswell ......... 280 votes
Informal .............. 3

I therefore declare B. T. Tidswell, D. E. Buckle and J. S Danby duly elected.

Wellington District

J. H. Berry and A. A. Fraser being nominated for two vacancies, I therefore declare them duly elected.

Canterbury District

E. C. Shaw being the only candidate, I declare him duly elected.

Otago District

A. R. Graham being the only candidate, I declare him duly elected.

North Island

Seven candidates were nominated for three vacancies. 917 ballot papers were issued, 384 were returned and the poll resulted:
