Justice, hereby give notice that the Wellington Licensing Committee on 2 November 1977 made orders authorising variation of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises known as Paekakariki Hotel, Paekakariki:

(a) On every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing shall be 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On every Friday and Saturday the hour of opening shall be 10 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing shall be 10 o’clock in the evening.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—King Country Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as substituted by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the King Country Licensing Committee on 26 October 1977 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises known as Te Anga Tavern, Te Kuiti:

(a) Opening of the premises to allow the sale of liquor up to 11 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Christmas Eve and to 12.30 a.m. the day after New Year’s Eve; subject to the condition that from 6 p.m. until closing time a substantial supply of sandwiches and pies or other light refreshments is available for all persons on the premises, together with tea or coffee making facilities at a reasonable charge.

(b) That unless hereby expressly varied the hour for the opening and closing of the licensed premises shall be the “usual hour”.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Chartered Club Premises—King Country Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as substituted by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the King Country Licensing Committee on 26 October 1977 made orders authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to chartered club members, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the chartered clubs specified in the Schedule below:

(a) Closing of the Club premises for the sale of liquor to members of the Club and all other persons lawfully entitled to use the Club premises at eleven (11) o’clock in the evening on Fridays and Saturdays of each and every week and Christmas Eve in each year and at 0.30 o’clock on the morning of New Year’s Day in each year; subject to the condition that from 6 p.m. until closing time a substantial supply of sandwiches and pies or other light refreshments is available for all persons on the premises, together with tea or coffee making facilities at a reasonable charge.

(b) That unless hereby expressly varied the hour for the opening and closing of the licensed premises shall be the “usual hour”.

(b) On every New Year’s Eve (not being a day when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of closing shall be 0.30 o’clock on New Year’s Day.

(c) All late closing is subject to the condition that from 6 p.m. until closing time a substantial supply of sandwiches and pies or other light refreshments is available for all persons on the premises, together with tea or coffee making facilities at a reasonable charge.

(d) That unless hereby expressly varied the hour for the opening and closing of the licensed premises shall be the “usual hour”.

(b) On every New Year’s Eve (not being a day when Chartered Clubs are required to be closed for sale of liquor) the hour of closing shall be 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

(c) All late closing is subject to the condition that from 6 p.m. until closing time a substantial supply of sandwiches and pies or other light refreshments is available for all persons on the premises, together with tea or coffee making facilities at a reasonable charge.

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Palmerston North 1977, No. 6.

  2. The lands described in the Schedule hereto, are hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
