8 hours, or before the hour of 8 a.m., or after the hour of 10.30 p.m., or on any day in excess of 5 days per week (whether the excess employment is in or about the exhibition or otherwise) shall be paid for the excess employment at not less than half as much again as the ordinary rate for the first 2 hours and at not less than twice the ordinary rate thereafter.

(b) Any person employed in or about the exhibition on any day that would, but for the provisions of this order, have been a whole holiday for that person by virtue of any Act, or of any collective agreements or awards shall be paid for all work done on that day at not less than twice the ordinary rate, whether the work is performed wholly in or about the exhibition or otherwise. Provided that nothing in this subclause shall be deemed to deprive any person of any other payment for the said holiday to which he is entitled under any Act or collective agreements or awards.

  1. No assistant under 18 years of age shall be employed in or about the exhibition after the hour of 10.30 p.m.

  2. For the purposes of the enforcement of any collective agreements or awards, any provision of which has been suspended by this order, any officer of the industrial union or association concerned who is authorised in writing in that behalf by the union or association shall be entitled to interview at his place of employment any person employed in or about the exhibition under those collective agreements or awards at such time or times as may be agreed upon between the officer and the employer of that person, and for this purpose any such officer shall be entitled at any time to have access to the register of passes issued by the promoter.

  3. Nothing in this notice shall be deemed to affect any provisions in any collective agreements or awards requiring workers subject to such collective agreements or awards to be members of a union.

PURSUANT to the Marriage Act 1955, I, David Spence Thomson, Minister of Justice, hereby give notice as follows:

  1. This notice may be cited as the Marriage (Approval of Organisations) Notice (No. 5) 1977.

  2. The organisations specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be approved organisations for the purposes of the Marriage Act 1955.

The Traffic (Whangarei City) Notice No. 1, 1977

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Whangarei City) Notice No. 1, 1977.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 21 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

  4. The roads specified in the Third Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of regulation 21 (4) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

  5. The Traffic (Whangarei City and Whangarei County) Notice No. 1, 1976, dated the 1st day of July 1976†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads within Whangarei City and Whangarei County, is hereby revoked.


FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Whangarei City:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui–Bluff): from Murdoch Crescent to the southern boundary of Whangarei City.

No. 14 State Highway (Whangarei–Dargaville): from Silverstream Road to the western boundary of Whangarei City, near Kowhai Park Road.

Gillingham Road: from a point 100 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from Station Road to its northern end.

Memorial Road: from Kohe Street to its northern end.

Ngunguru Road: from Corks Road to the eastern boundary of Whangarei City.

Old Parua Bay Road: from Memorial Drive to the eastern boundary of Whangarei City.

Onerahi Road: from the Waimahanga Creek Bridge to a point 40 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from Montgomery Avenue.

Paranui Valley Road: from a point 450 metres measured easterly generally along the said road from Paranui Crescent to Whareora Road.

Pukenui Road: from the No. 14 State Highway (Whangarei–Dargaville) to the western boundary of Whangarei City.

Riverside Drive: from a point 500 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said road from Pohe Island Road to the Waimahanga Creek Bridge.

Three Mile Bush Road: from Dip Road to the western boundary of Whangarei City.

Vinegar Hill Road: from Corks Road to the north-eastern boundary of Whangarei City.

Whangarei Heads Road: from Beach Road to the eastern boundary of Whangarei City.

Whareora Road: from a point 300 metres measured easterly generally along the said road from Waiatawa Road to the eastern boundary of Whangarei City.


SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Whangarei City:

No. 14 State Highway (Whangarei–Dargaville): from Silverstream Road to the western boundary of Whangarei City, near Kowhai Park Road.


THIRD SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Whangarei County adjacent to Whangarei City:

Three Mile Bush Road: from Dip Road to a point measured 440 metres westerly generally along Three Mile Bush Road from Lake Oru Road.
