MANGONUI COUNTY COUNCIL

IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and the Public Works
Act 1928:

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Mangonui County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts,
to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a
public road, and for the purpose of such public work the
lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be
taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the
lands so required to be taken is deposited at the County
Office, Kaitaia, and is available for inspection without fee by
all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected
by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of
such lands who have any well-grounded objection to the
execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said
lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of
compensation, must state their objection in writing, and serve
the same within forty (40) days after the first publication of
this notice (18 October 1977) to the Town and Country
Planning Appeal Board, P.O. Box 3241, Wellington, and a
public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the
objector otherwise requires, and the objector will be advised
of the time and place of the hearing.
