Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of these applications should do so in writing on or before 3 November 1977. Submissions should include a reference to the application number, Tariff item and description of goods concerned, be addressed to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, and supported by information as to:

(a) The quality, range, supply etc., of the above-described goods produced in New Zealand; and

(b) The landed cost and selling price, including c.d.v., and cost to store in terms of f.o.b., insurance, freight, exchange, other landing charges, duty, etc., of equivalent goods of overseas origin.

Notice by Examiner of Commercial Practices of Consent to Merger and Takeover Proposal

PURSUANT to section 70 of the Commerce Act 1975, the Examiner of Commercial Practices hereby gives notice that he has, subject to subsection (9) of that section, consented to the following merger and takeover proposal, being a merger and takeover proposal which also requires consent under the Overseas Investment Act 1973 and the Overseas Investment Regulations 1974*.
