charges plus ten percent (10%) thereof, payable in respect of the
loans secured by those special rates; and the Mount Roskill Borough
Council hereby further resolved that the consolidated special rate
shall be payable in one sum on the first day of April in each year at
the Council Chambers, corner of Three Kings and Mount Albert
Roads, Mount Roskill, to the Town Clerk or at such other place or
to such other person for the time being authorised by council.

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

Notice is hereby given that the Napier City Council proposes,
under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute
certain public works, namely, to lay out and construct a service
lane and an access way running between White Street and Puke-
tapu Road, adjacent to Gloucester Street, within the City of
Napier, and for the purposes of such public works the parcels
of land described in the First Schedule hereto are required to
be taken for service lane and the parcels of land described
in the Second Schedule are required to be taken for access way. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of
the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public
office of the Napier City Council, situate in Hastings Street,
Napier, and is there open for inspection without fee by all
persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by
the execution of the said public works or by the taking of
the said lands should, if they have any objections to the execution
of the said public works, or to the taking of the said lands,
not being objections to the amount or payment of com-
pensation should set forth such objection in writing and send
the same within forty (40) days of the first publication of
this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board,
care of Tribunals Division, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wel-
ington. If any objection is made, in accordance with this
notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless
the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be
advised of the time and place of the hearing.
