The Traffic (Waitomo County) Notice No. 1, 1976
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waitomo County) Notice No. 1, 1976.

  2. The area, specified in the Schedule hereto, is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waitomo County at Te Kuiti:

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the south-eastern side of No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton to Woodville via New Plymouth) 680 metres measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from Grey Street; then north-westerly generally by a right line across No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) to a point where the south-eastern side of Earl Street meets the eastern side of Henderson Street; then south-westerly generally and north-westerly generally along the southern side of Earl Street to its western end; thence north-westerly generally by a right line to the south-western end of Hetet Street; thence north-westerly generally by a right line to the southern end of Elizabeth Street; thence westerly generally by a right line to the south-western end of Mary Street; thence north-easterly generally by a right line to a point where the south-eastern side of Ailsa Street meets the south-western side of Eketone Street; thence south-westerly generally and north-westerly generally along the southern side of Ailsa Street to its western end; thence northerly generally by a right line to the south-western end of Hospital Road; thence north-easterly generally along the north-western side of Hospital Road to a point where the northern side of Hospital Road meets the south-western side of Eketone Street; thence northerly generally to a point on the south-western side of No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton to Woodville via New Plymouth) 390 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said State highway from Gadsby Road; thence across No. 3 State highway (Hamilton to Woodville via New Plymouth) at right angles from its south-western side to its north-eastern side; thence north-easterly generally by a right line to a point on the south-western side of Tammadge Street 560 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said street from Esplanade; thence across Tammadge Street at right angles from its western side to its eastern side; thence easterly generally by a right line to the western end of Terrace Road; thence easterly generally along the northern side of Terrace Road and the north-west and north-east side of View Road to the eastern end of View Road; thence easterly generally by a right line to a point on the north-western side of Mangokino Road 480 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said road from Tawa Street; thence across Mangokino Road at right angles from its north-western side to its south-eastern side; thence south-easterly generally by a right line to a point on the northern side of Rangitoto Road 1240 metres measured easterly generally along the said road from Boundary Street; thence south-westerly generally by a right line across Rangitoto Road to a point on the north-eastern side of Boundary Street 200 metres measured southerly generally along Boundary Street from Rangitoto Road; thence southerly generally by a right line to a point on the north-eastern side of No. 30 State Highway (Te Kuiti to Whakatane via Atiamuri) 240 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said State highway from Cotter Street; thence westerly generally by a right line to a point where the eastern side of No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton to Woodville via New Plymouth) meets the south-eastern side of Gladstone Street; thence southerly generally and south-easterly generally along the eastern side of No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton to Woodville via New Plymouth) to the commencing point.

Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealandโ€”Designation of Administrative Local Authority for Mid Canterbury Community Arts Council

PURSUANT to section 36 of the Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealand Act 1974, I hereby designate the Ashburton Borough Council to be the administrative local authority in respect of the Mid Canterbury Community Arts Council.

Boundaries of the City of Manukau Altered
