At the Government House at Wellington this 30th day of August 1976

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land, described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

All that piece of land containing 280 square metres, situated in Block I, Rimutaka Survey District, City of Upper Hutt, being part Lot 3, D.P. 3478. As shown on plan S.O. 30496, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington, and thereon marked U3.

Authorising Sounds Forestry Developments Limited to Reclaim Crown Foreshore and Seabed in Waikakaramea Bay, Queen Charlotte Sound

Pursuant to section 175 (3) and subject to sections '176 to 182 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises Sounds Forestry Development Limited to reclaim an area of 300 square metres of Crown foreshore and seabed in Waikakaramea Bay, Queen Charlotte Sound, as shown on plan M.D. 15753, and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

Vesting Reclaimed Land in Marlborough County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 23rd day of August 1976

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

Pursuant to section 175B (2) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby vests in the Marlborough County Council the land, described in the Schedule hereto, which land was authorised for reclamation by Order in Council of 21 January 1969*, such land to be vested as a reserve for parking purposes.

SCHEDULE

All that piece of reclaimed Crown foreshore, situated in Block IV, Linkwater Survey District, Marlborough Land District, containing 755 square metres as shown on plan S.O. 5384T, M.D. 15757.

The District Land Registrar is hereby authorised to make such entries in his register as are necessary to give effect to this order.

Captain (temp. Major) R. G. Beatson to be Major, with seniority and effect from 20 June 1976.

Captain (temp. Major) R. N. Himona to be Major, with seniority and effect from 21 June 1976.

Captain (temp. Major) and Quartermaster W. P. Morgan, M.B.E., is transferred to the Supernumerary List on reaching retiring age for rank, with effect from 21 February 1977, and his engagement is extended until 20 February 1979.

Captain Peter John Fry is transferred from the Territorial Force in the rank of Captain, with seniority from 14 August 1974, and effect from 19 July 1976.

Colonel Charles Desmond Hall, O.B.E., E.D., M.B., CH.B., M.R.C.G.P., M.N.Z.C.G.P. (Territorial Force), relinquishes the appointment of President, Northern Medical Board, with effect from 1 August 1976; he continues to serve on the Active List of the Territorial Force, in his present rank and seniority.

Colonel Arthur Wynyard Beasley, O.B.E., E.D., M.B., CH.B., F.R.C.S.(EDIN.), F.R.A.C.S. (Territorial Force) relinquishes the appointment of President, Central Medical Board, with effect from 1 July 1976; he continues to serve on the Active List of the Territorial Force, in his present rank and seniority.

ROYAL N.Z. ARMY ORDNANCE CORPS

Captain and Quartermaster John Edward Hancock is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, Royal N.Z. Army Ordnance Corps, in the rank of Major and Quartermaster, with effect from 31 July 1976.

Captain Mark David Stuart, B.A.(MIL.), is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, Royal N.Z. Army Ordnance Corps, in the rank of Captain, with effect from 14 August 1976.

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) P. M. O'Brien to be Captain, with seniority and effect from 20 June 1976.

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) Noel Anthony Hitchings is posted to the Retired List in the rank of Captain, with effect from 21 August 1976.

N.Z. ARMY LEGAL SERVICE

Albert Scott Lowson, M.A., LL.B., is appointed to a commission for an initial period of five years in the rank of Captain, with seniority and effect from 22 June 1976.

ROYAL N.Z. NURSING CORPS

Captain J. A. Duncan is re-engaged until 12 July 1978.
