PURSUANT to section 47 of the Judicature Act 1908, the Right Honourable Sir Richard Wild, KCMG; Chief Justice of New Zealand, has this day appointed David Leonard Bailey, of 224 Queen Street, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, to be a Commissioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in Victoria, for the purpose of administering and taking oaths, affidavits, and affirmations, as in the said section mentioned.

Shipping and Seamen Act 1952—Cancellation of Appointment and Appointment of Members and Deputy Members of the Marine Council
PURSUANT to section 15A of the Shipping and Seamen Act 1952 (as substituted by section 2 of the Shipping and Seamen Amendment Act 1971) as Minister of Transport, I hereby:
(1) Cancel the appointment of Rodger Norman Kerr as
Chairman of the Council;
(2) Cancel the appointment of Arthur John Schofield as
deputy member of the Marine Council;
(3) Appoint Hubert David Maurice Jones as member and
Chairman of the Marine Council;
(4) Appoint Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, of the Ministry of
Transport, as deputy member of the Marine Council
for Mr Jones; and
(5) Appoint Bernard Francis Scully, of the Shipping Corporation of New Zealand, as deputy member of the Marine Council for Mr Munro.
