Christchurch City Council Electric Lines Licence 1959, Amendment No. 8
PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity hereby amends the Christchurch City Council Electric Lines Licence 1959*, as amended by the amendments, specified in the Schedule hereto, by adding to the First Schedule thereto the following:
- A line commencing from a point on the Christchurch City Council’s boundary at the end of Ferniehurst Street and proceeding in a north-easterly direction following the northern side of Cashmere Road to the Heathcote County Council’s substation near the corner of Cashmere Road and Purau Terrace, the said line being more particularly shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 920 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Further Extending the Duration of Licence Authorising the North Canterbury Electric Power Board to Use Electric Lines within the North Canterbury Electric Power District and Outer Area of South District
PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity hereby amends the North Canterbury Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1959*, as amended by the amendments, specified in the Schedule hereto, by extending the duration of the said licence from the 1st day of December 1975 until the 1st day of December 1976.

Cancellation of a Consent to Use Water Power
PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity, with the consent of the licensee, hereby cancels a consent, dated 19 January 1972, authorising the Mount Possession Run Company Limited, of Wellington, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity (New Zealand Gazette, No. 6, 27 January 1972, p. 170).

The Traffic (Hawkes Bay County) Notice No. 2, 1976
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hawkes Bay County) Notice No. 2, 1976.
- The roads, specified in the First Schedule hereto, are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
- The roads, specified in the Second Schedule hereto, are hereby declared to be 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
- The Traffic (Hawkes Bay County) Notice No. 1, 1974, dated the 13th day of March 1974+, and the Traffic (Hawkes Bay County) Notice No. 2, 1975, dated the 26th day of August 1975+, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relate to roads situated within Hawkes Bay County, are hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Hawkes Bay County adjacent to Hastings City:
No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from the north-eastern boundary of Hastings City at Collinge Road to a point 50 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said highway from Kenilworth Road.

Howard Street: from a point 60 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said road from Windsor Avenue to a point 320 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said street from Windsor Avenue.
