Authorising a Secondary Use of Land in Block VI, Puketi Survey District, Taupo County, and Vesting the Control and Management thereof in the Lake Taupo Reserves Board

PURSUANT to section 37 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby:

(a) Authorises the application of the land, described in the Schedule hereto, being land held primarily for the generation of electricity to recreation purposes, which shall be a secondary use of the said land;
(b) Specifies that the provisions of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 shall apply to the said land; and
(c) Vests the control and management of the said land in the Lake Taupo Reserves Board.
