Amending Order in Council Altering Boundaries of Waitemata County and Takapuna City

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 14th day of June 1976
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to sections 29, 30, 33, and 37 (1) of the Local Government Act 1974, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
(1) The Order in Council, made on the 22nd day of July 1974, altering the boundaries of the County of Waitemata and the City of Takapuna is hereby amended as from its commencement by revoking clause 16, and substituting the following clause:
“16. All estates and interests in land situated in the area included in the City of Takapuna by clause 2 of this order and vested in the Corporation of the County of Waitemata immediately before the commencement of this order are hereby vested in the Corporation of the City of Takapuna.”
(2) All property and the control of any land or thing of whatsoever kind which immediately before the commencement of this order was situated in the County of Waitemata and was vested in the corporation of that county shall by virtue of this order vest in such of the respective corporations of the City of Waitemata, the County of Rodney or the City of Takapuna as shall be determined by agreement previously made or hereafter to be made between the Waitemata City Council, the Rodney County Council, and the Takapuna City Council.

Consenting to Land Being Taken for Road in the City of Invercargill

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 14th day of June 1976
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the land, described in the Schedule hereto, being taken for road.
SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block I, Invercargill Hundred, described as follows:
Area m² Being
155 Lot 3 and part Lot 2, D.P. 3400; marked “A” on plan. 267 Part Lot 1, D.P. 6341; marked “B” on plan.
As shown on plan S.O. 8977, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Invercargill, and thereon marked as above mentioned.

ORDER
(1) The Order in Council, made on the 22nd day of July 1974, altering the boundaries of Waitemata, Otamatea, and Rodney Counties is hereby amended as from its commencement by revoking clause 17, and substituting the following clause:
“17. (1) All estates and interests in land situated in the area of the County of Waitemata included in the County of Rodney by clause 2 of this Order and vested in the Corporation of the County of Rodney immediately before the commencement of this order, and all estates and interests in land situated in the area of the County of Otamatea included in the County of Rodney by clause 3 of this order and vested in the Corporation of the County of Otamatea immediately before the commencement of this order are hereby vested in the Corporation of the County of Rodney.
“(2) All estates and interests in land situated in the area of the County of Rodney included in the County of Otamatea by clause 4 of this order and vested in the Corporation of the County of Rodney immediately before the commencement of this order are hereby vested in the Corporation of the County of Otamatea.”
(2) All property and the control of any land or thing of whatsoever kind which immediately before the commencement of this order was situated in the County of Waitemata and was vested in the corporation of that county shall by virtue of this order vest in such of the respective corporations of the City of Waitemata, the County of Rodney or the City of Takapuna as shall be determined by agreement previously made or hereafter to be made between the Waitemata City Council, the Rodney County Council, and the Takapuna City Council.
