†Lyttelton Christchurch including goods for stations beyond Christchurch (except stations, Heathcote, Prebbleton, Islington, Belfast, inclusive, but excluding Christchurch) Goods ex-ship of Classes A, B, C, D, G and G subject to a percentage decrease. Owner's risk. $15.25 per tonne or cubic metre including sorting at Christchurch. The charges will be computed in accordance with section 127, General Scale of Charges. From Christchurch to destination the charges will be computed on actual weight at the appropriate rate. Small lots will be charged as follows: Not Exceeding: kg m³ $ 25 or 0.025 0.75 50 or 0.05 1.20 75 or 0.075 1.70 100 or 0.10 2.20 125 or 0.125 2.60 150 or 0.15 3.00 175 or 0.175 3.45 200 or 0.20 3.85 225 or 0.225 4.25 250 or 0.25 4.60
Stations, Addington, Prebbleton, Islington, Belfast, inclusive Goods ex-ship of Classes A, B, C, D, G and G subject to a percentage decrease. Owner's risk. $18.05 per tonne or per cubic metre including sorting at Christchurch. The charges will be computed in accordance with section 127, General Scale of Charges. Small lots will be charged as follows: Not Exceeding: kg m³ $ 50 or 0.05 1.45 100 or 0.10 2.60 150 or 0.150 3.55 200 or 0.20 4.55 250 or 0.25 5.40
Christchurch Goods ex-ship of Classes E plus 25 percent and E plus 50 percent. Owner's risk. $7.25 per tonne.

†The department will not accept unsorted cargo at ship's side, Cashin Quay for Christchurch or any other destination station. The provisions of General Scale of Charges, section 127, will not apply to sorted goods dispatched by rail from Cashin Quay; rail charges are to be based on classified rates from Lyttelton to destination station.
