IN THE MATTER of the Companies Act 1955, and IN THE MATTER of SUN CITY BUILDERS LIMITED, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Nelson and carrying on business there as a builder:

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 13th day of April 1976, presented to the said Court by DOUGLAS ROBERT SMITH of Nelson, company director, and JENNIFER MIRIAM SMITH, his wife. And that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Nelson, on the 24th day of June 1976, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

KATIKATI DRAINAGE AREA
Notice of Result of Poll on Loan Proposal

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of ratepayers of the Katikati drainage area, taken on the 27th day of May 1976, on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of $402,000, to be known as the Katikati Community Sewerage Loan 1976, for the purpose of constructing a sewerage scheme for the Katikati Community Drainage Area resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was ..... 111.
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was ..... 191.
The number of informal votes was ..... 1.

I, therefore, declare that the proposal was rejected.

WELLINGTON CITY CORPORATION
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and their respective amendments:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities, enabling it in that behalf to execute a certain public work, namely, for street purposes in the City of Wellington and for the purpose of that public work the land, described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land which is required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said council in the Municipal Office Building, Mercer Street, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours and that any person affected by the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land should, if he has any objection to the execution of the said public work, or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to amount or payment of compensation, send his written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, 175 The Terrace, Wellington. And notice is hereby further given that if any objection is made as aforesaid a public hearing of that objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of that hearing and at that hearing each objector will be advised of the reasons for the proposed taking.

SCHEDULE

FIRSTLY, all that parcel of land known as No. 5 Herbert Street, Wellington, containing five and seven-tenths (5.7) perches, more or less, being part of Section 203, Town of Wellington, and being all the land in certificate of title 190/250, Wellington Registry.

Secondly, all that parcel of land known as No. 7 Herbert Street, Wellington, containing six and eight-tenths (6.8) perches, more or less, being part Section 203, Town of Wellington, and being all the land in certificate of title 192/60, Wellington Registry.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Hawke’s Bay County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Hawke’s Bay County Council, situate in Browning Street, Napier, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth such objection in writing and send the same within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, Tribunal Division, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington. If any objection is made, in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and the place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land containing ninety-six square metres (96 m²), more or less, situate in Block III, Clive Survey District, being Lot 4 on Deposited Plan 3293, and being part closed road, situated at the northern end of Holden Avenue, Haumoana, in the County of Hawke’s Bay.

WAIMEA COUNTY COUNCIL, NELSON CITY COUNCIL AND RICHMOND BOROUGH COUNCIL

IN the matter of section 31 and 183 of the Counties Act 1956, and of section 51 and 163 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and in the matter of sections 25 and 27 of the Health Act 1956, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Nelson City Council, the Richmond Borough Council, and the Waimea County Council propose under the above-mentioned Acts to execute jointly a certain public work, namely, to construct oxidation ponds and works associated therewith for the treatment of raw sewage and for the purpose of such public work the land, described in the Schedule hereto, known as Bell’s Island in Tasman Bay is required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that the land in question is all the land in certificate of title, Volume 56, folio 193 (Nelson Land Registry), and that a plan of the said land is deposited in the public office of the County Clerk to the Waimea County Council, situated in Queen Street, Richmond, the Nelson City Council at Trafalgar Street, Nelson, and the Richmond Borough Council at 9 Cambridge Street, Richmond, and is open for inspection without fee to all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons directly affected by the proposal who wish to make any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the land not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation must state their objections in writing and send the same
