The Traffic (Kawerau Borough) Notice No. 1, 1976
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Kawerau Borough) Notice No. 1, 1976.
  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
  4. The Traffic (Kawerau Borough) Notice No. 1, 1971, dated the 20th day of October 1971†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Kawerau Borough is hereby revoked.
    FIRST SCHEDULE
    SITUATED within Kawerau Borough:
    East Bank Road: from Tamarangi Drive to the bridge across the Tarawera River.
    Fentons Mill Road: from the southern boundary of Kawerau Borough to Glasgow Street.
    Glasgow Street: from Fentons Mill Road to a point 160 metres measured westerly generally along Glasgow Street from Bell Street.
    Kawerau Road.
    Tamarangi Drive.
    SECOND SCHEDULE
    SITUATED within Kawerau Borough:
    Tamarangi Drive: from a point 240 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said drive from Islington Street to a point 240 metres measured south-westerly generally along the said drive from the said street.

THE following certificate has been executed on the sealed copy of the Taupo Borough Bylaw No. 1-General, made by the Taupo Borough Council on 26 April 1976.

It is hereby notified that, pursuant to section 15 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the boundaries of the Borough of Otahuhu are hereby altered by including within the borough land reclaimed from the sea and described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that parcel of land containing 2.0234 hectares, more or less, being part Section 63, Block VI, S.O. 48013, Otahuhu Survey District.

PURSUANT to section 36 of the Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealand Act 1974, I hereby designate the Alexandra Borough Council to be the administrative local authority in respect of the Central Otago Community Arts Council.

THE Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that the notice published in the Gazette, No. 24, of 11 March 1976, at p. 501, relating to the open season for game in certain acclimatisation districts is amended as follows:
In that portion of the Schedule which relates to the West Coast Acclimatisation District:
(a) By deleting the following:

Grey, shoveler (or spoonbill) and mallard duck 1 May to 30 May 1976 incl.
