Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block IV, Waihi South
Survey District, Tauranga County, for Road

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road, the land described
in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used for deviating an existing
road; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so
required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Te Puke and
is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the
taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the taking
of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of
compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after
the first publication of this notice, to the Town and Country Planning
Appeal Board at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in
accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be
held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be
advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Declaring Land Taken for Street in the City of Napier

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient
agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in the Mayor,
Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Napier from and after the 3rd day
of June 1976.

Appointing Members of the Engineers' Registration Board

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Engineers' Registration Act 1924, the

of the Engineers' Registration Board for a term commencing on the 1st day
of April 1976 and expiring on the 31st day of March 1979, the three last
named having been recommended by the Council of the New Zealand Institution
of Engineers Incorporated:

George Samuel Beca, Esquire, civil engineer, of Auckland;
James Harold Vernon, Esquire, electrical engineer, of Wellington;
George Bruce Burton, Esquire, civil engineer, of Hamilton;

Resumption of Unformed Legal Road in Waimea County

PURSUANT to section 191B of the Counties Act 1956, the Minister of
Lands hereby declares that the land, described in the Schedule hereto, has
been transferred to the Crown by the Waimea County Council, pursuant to the
said section 191B, and as from the date of this notice the land shall be
deemed to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.
