Exemption From the Restrictions as to Flashing Red Lights

PURSUANT to regulation 25A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Secretary for Transport hereby exempts from the requirements of regulation 34 (4) in terms of regulation 39 (2) of the said regulations, vehicles described in the Schedule hereto to the effect that they may be equipped with one or more revolving lights which display alternate red and amber beams.

Declaration of Vehicle with Motorcycle Controls to be a Motorcycle

PURSUANT to section 2 of the Transport Act 1962, the Deputy Secretary for Transport hereby declares that the vehicle, described in the Schedule hereto, having motorcycle controls, is a motorcycle for the purposes of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

The three-wheeled vehicle with motorcycle controls known as the 'Landcat Farmtrike', which was manufactured by Astill Engineering of Te Aroha.

The Road Classification (Taranaki County) Notice No. 1, 1976

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, the Deputy Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Taranaki County) Notice No. 1, 1976.

  2. The Taranaki County Council’s proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

  3. So much of the notice, dated the 26th day of September 1960†, which relates to the classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

Egmont Road: from No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton to Woodville via New Plymouth) to Katere Road.

Notice of Acquisition of Land

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired as a reserve for recreation purposes, subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act.

Maori Land Development Notice

WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto the land described in that notice was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release certain parcels of that land, it is considered necessary to replace the notice aforesaid.

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1976, No. 4.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
