Revocation of Appointment of Honorary Launch Warden (Resigned)

PURSUANT to sections 7 and 265A of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby revoke the appointment* of Bruce Edward Arnold as honorary launch warden for purposes of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962.

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for police purposes (residence) from and after the 14th day of April 1976.

Declaring Land Taken for Sewage Disposal Purposes and an Easement in Gross over Land Taken for Sewage Pipeline and Drainage in Block V, Kaitawa Survey District, Horowhenua County

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, sufficient agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to pipeline certificate No. 906726, for sewage disposal purposes and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Horowhenua from and after the 14th day of April 1976, and an easement in gross is hereby taken subject to pipeline certificate No. 906726 for sewage, pipeline, and drainage over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Horowhenua from and after the 14th day of April 1976, the following full and free-rights liberties, licences, and privileges in perpetuity, that is to say:

(a) The right to enter upon all or any of the said lands to lay, construct, repair, renew, and maintain all necessary pipes, together with all pumping stations and ancillary fittings, and works, and of such internal diameter, and of such material, and with a minimum cover over sanitary pipes of not less than 18 inches as shall be necessary for any of the purposes here-under

(b) The right to enter upon any of the said lands, from time to time and at all reasonable times, by the County Council's servants, agents, and workmen with all necessary tools, instruments, plant, machinery, and vehicles for the purpose of laying, constructing, and repairing, and renewing and maintaining all or any of the said pumping stations or ancillary fittings

(c) The right to dig and break up the surface of the said lands, or any part thereof, and generally to do and perform all acts and things as may be necessary or proper for any of the purposes herein mentioned but doing as little damage thereto as possible and restoring the land as nearly as possible to its original condition.

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a secondary school and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken, excepting all that portion of the subsoil situate beneath a plane 10 feet below and approximately parallel to the surface of that part of the land shown coloured pink on the plan endorsed on certificate of title, Volume 478, folio 253, and defined in proclamation
