Plants Declared Noxious Weeds Under the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 in the Borough of Helensville (No. 1417 Ag. 12/10/14)
PURSUANT to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Act 1953, for the purposes of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the following Special Order made by the Helensville Borough Council on the 24th day of February 1976 is hereby published.
SPECIAL ORDER
That the Helensville Borough Council, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by the Counties Act 1956, the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and of all other acts and powers there unto enabling it in that behalf, doth hereby resolve by way of special order to declare the following weeds as noxious within the Borough of Helensville:
Alligator weed (Telanthera philoxeroides).
Barberry (Berberis darwinii).
Barberry (Berberis vulgaris).
Barley grass (Hordeum murinum).
Bindweed (Convolvulus arvensis).
Boxthorn (Lycium ferocissimum syn. Lycium horridum).
Blackberry (Rubus fruticosus).
