NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CHANGE THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH LAND WAS ACQUIRED

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and their respective amendments:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf to change the purpose for which the land, described in the Schedule hereto, was acquired (namely, for the purposes of electric tramways) to some other purpose (namely, for town hall purposes). And notice is hereby further given that all persons objecting to the proposal are required to lodge their objections in writing at the offices of the said Town Clerk within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice.

AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY

SPECIAL ORDER

THE Auckland Regional Authority in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, section 37, and in pursuance of the authority conferred upon it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and in exercise of all other powers enabling it on that behalf doth hereby resolve by special resolution intended to operate as a special order to be known as Transport Loan No. 10, 1975, $4,000,000 for the purposes of and incidental to financing the Authority’s bus replacement programme during the 1976–81 period.

The foregoing special order was passed at an ordinary meeting of the Auckland Regional Authority held, on 16 February 1976, and confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the said Authority held, on 15 March 1976, having meantime been advertised in the Auckland Star, on Saturday, 21 February 1976, and Saturday, 6 March 1976.

The Common Seal of the Auckland Regional Authority was hereunto affixed in the presence of the chairman and secretary.
