Bylaw Regulating Traffic on No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) in the City of Dunedin

PURSUANT to the National Roads Act 1953 and the Transport Act 1962, the National Roads Board makes the following bylaw.

B Y L A W

  1. This bylaw may be cited as the National Roads Board Bylaw 1976, No. 2.
  2. This bylaw shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.
  3. In this bylaw “vehicle” has the meaning assigned to it in the Transport Act 1962.
  4. From and after the coming into force of this by law, all vehicles and horse traffic on the streets or parts of streets in the City of Dunedin forming part of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff), described in the Schedule hereto, shall proceed in one direction only, namely, in the respective direction shown in the said Schedule.
  5. Every person, other than a person on foot, commits an offence against this bylaw who proceeds on or along any of the streets or parts of streets described in the Schedule hereto other than in the direction respectively prescribed.
  6. Every person who commits an offence against this bylaw is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars ($100).
  7. National Roads Board Bylaw 1967, No. 3*, is revoked.

SCHEDULE

Duke Street, between Great King and Cumberland Streets South-easterly from Great King Street towards Cumberland Street.
Cumberland Street, between Duke Street and Albany Street South-westerly from Duke Street towards Albany Street.
Cumberland Street, between High Street and Frederick Street North-easterly from High Street towards Frederick Street.
Cumberland Street, between High Street and Andersons Bay Road South-westerly from High Street towards Andersons Bay Road.
Great King Street, between Albany Street and Duke Street North-easterly from Albany Street towards Duke Street.
Gowland Street between Albany Street and Frederick Street Southerly, from Albany Street towards Frederick Street.
Malcolm Street between Frederick Street and Albany Street Northerly, from Frederick Street towards Albany Street.
Castle Street between Frederick Street and High Street South-westerly from Frederick Street towards High Street.
High Street between Castle Street and Cumberland Street South-westerly from Castle Street towards Cumberland Street.
High Street between Crawford Street and Cumberland Street North-easterly from Crawford Street towards Cumberland Street.
Crawford Street between Andersons Bay Road and High Street North-easterly from Andersons Bay Road towards High Street.

This bylaw was made by resolution duly passed at a meeting of the National Roads Board held in Wellington on the 23rd day of March 1976.

Tariff Notice No. 1976/40—Applications for Withdrawal of Approvals

NOTICE is hereby given that applications have been made for the withdrawal of the following approvals of the Minister of Customs and for the future admission of the goods at substantive rates of duty:

Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of these applications should do so in writing on or before 22 April 1976. Submissions should include a reference to the application number, Tariff item and description of goods concerned, be addressed to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, and supported by information as to:

(a) The quality, range, supply, etc., of the above-described goods produced in New Zealand; and
(b) The landed cost and selling price, including c.d.v., and cost into store in terms of f.o.b., insurance, freight, exchange, other landing charges, duty, etc., of equivalent goods of overseas origin.
