The Harbour Board Employees Superannuation Scheme Order 1976

Present:

Pursuant to section 25 of the Finance Act (No. 2) 1942,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. Title—This order may be cited as the Harbour Board Employees Superannuation Scheme Order 1976.

  2. Consent to superannuation scheme—Consent is hereby given to any Harbour Board referred to in the Schedule to the agreement hereinafter mentioned establishing a superannuation scheme for the benefit of persons in its service and their dependants, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and provisions of an agreement made on the 14th day of November 1975 between the Harbours Association of New Zealand and the New Zealand Harbour Boards Employees Industrial Unions of Workers, a copy of which agreement has been deposited in the office of the Secretary of Labour and also in the office of the Secretary to the Treasury at Wellington.

Pursuant to the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act 1908,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Change of Name of the Hauraki Plains Agricultural and Pastoral Association Order 1976.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. The name of the society which was incorporated under the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act 1908 as the Hauraki Plains Agricultural and Pastoral Association* is hereby changed to the Paeroa Agricultural and Pastoral Association.

Constitution of the Bruce-Taieri Hydatids Control District (No. 1408 Ag. 21171)

Pursuant to the Hydatids Act 1968, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Bruce-Taieri Hydatids Control District Order 1976.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. The areas comprising the Counties of Bruce and Taieri, and the Boroughs of Kaitangata, Milton, Mosgiel, and Green Island, as from time to time constituted, are hereby declared to be united to form a hydatids control district to be called the Bruce-Taieri Hydatids Control District.

  2. The Bruce-Taieri Hydatids Control Authority is hereby appointed the hydatids control authority for the Bruce-Taieri Hydatids Control District.

  3. Revocation—The Bruce-Taieri Hydatids Control District Order 1972* is hereby revoked.

Dissolution of Kawa Drainage Board and Constitution of Its District as Drainage Districts of the Counties of Otorohanga and Waipa

THE RIGHT HON. R. D. MULDOON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

Pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. This order shall come into force on 1 April 1976.

  2. The Kawa Drainage Board and its drainage district shall be abolished.

  3. The area of the Kawa Drainage District, within the district of the County of Otorohanga, shall be constituted a drainage district of that county under the name of the “Kawa South Drainage District” (or such other name as the Otorohanga County Council may decide to adopt).

  4. The area of the Kawa Drainage District, within the district of the County of Waipa, shall be constituted a drainage district of that county under the name of the “Kawa North Drainage District” (or such other name as the Waipa County Council may decide to adopt).

  5. The Kawa South Drainage District and the Kawa North Drainage District shall be deemed to have been constituted under Part XVI of the Counties Act 1956, and the classifications of land for rating purposes made by the Kawa Drainage Board and existing on its dissolution shall be the classifications of land in each drainage district, as if those classifications had been made under that Part of that Act.

  6. The assets and liabilities of the Kawa Drainage Board shall vest in the Otorohanga County Council and the assets shall, after all liabilities have been provided for, be applied only to land drainage in the Kawa South Drainage District and the Kawa North Drainage District, and any amounts requiring to be found to meet those liabilities shall be found only within those districts.
