NOTICE is hereby given that the Order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 25th day of February 1976, confirming the reduction of capital of the above company from $43,600 to $33,550 and the Minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the abovementioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies at New Plymouth on the 12th day of March 1976.

The said Minute is in the words and figures following:

“That the capital of the company is $33,550, divided into 720 fully paid ordinary “A” class shares of $1 each, and 32830 fully paid “B” class shares of $1 each, having been reduced from $43,600 divided into 720 fully paid ordinary “A” class shares of $1 each and 42880 fully paid ordinary “B” class shares of $1 each.”

BOROUGH OF BALCLUTHA

SPECIAL RATE—ELDERLY PERSONS HOUSING (TOSHVALE) LOAN 1975, $42,000

THAT, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $42,000 authorised to be raised by the Balclutha Borough Council, under the Local Authorities Loans Board Act 1956, the said Balclutha Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0387 of a cent in the dollar upon the rateable land value of all rateable property of the Borough of Balclutha and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of October and the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL

MERCER-FERRY ROAD, TUAKAU

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Raglan County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road, for which purpose the lands described in the First Schedule hereto are required to be taken by the council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, and the portions of road described in the Second Schedule hereto are to be stopped under the provisions of the Counties Act 1956. The plan of the lands required to be taken, as aforesaid, and the roads proposed to be stopped lies open to public inspection at the office of the council in Great South Road, Ngaruawahia. Every person directly affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he or she may wish to make to the execution of such work or to the taking of such lands or to the stopping of such roads, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and send such written objection to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board,

Wellington, with respect to the taking of lands for road, within 40 days from the date of the first publication of this notice. All persons objecting to the proposal to stop roads must lodge their objections in writing at the office of the council within 40 days from the date of the first publication of this notice. Public hearings of the objections will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
