Land in the Nelson Land District Acquired as State Forest Land

NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act 1949, as State forest land.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—NELSON CONSERVANCY—WAIMEA COUNTY

All the land on Deposited Plan 2613, being part Section 1, Block I, Wakapuaka Survey District, and part Section 2, Block IV, Wakapuaka Survey District, being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 80, folio 57: area, 363.4077 hectares, more or less.

As shown on plan S. 15/4 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.

Special Order Made by Stratford County Council Declaring That Section 107 of the Counties Act 1956 Shall Not Apply to That County

PURSUANT to section 109 of the Counties Act 1956, the Secretary for Local Government hereby publishes the following special order made by the Stratford County Council.

SPECIAL ORDER

1. “That, pursuant to section 109 of the Counties Act 1956, the Stratford County Council hereby declares by special order that section 107 of the aforementioned Act shall cease to apply to the Stratford County as from the 31st day of March 1976.”

2. “That, pursuant to section 112 of the Counties Act 1956, the Stratford County Council hereby makes by special order a separate rate of decimal seven zero (0.70 cents) cents in the dollar, on the basis of the land value of all rateable property within the boundaries of the Whangamomona Riding of the County of Stratford for the purpose of providing additional finance to meet the nett cost of roading works, after allowance for subsidy, in the Whangamomona Riding, such separate rate to be for the financial year commencing from the 1st April following the day that section 107 of the aforementioned Act ceases to apply.”

3. “That, pursuant to section 112 of the Counties Act 1956, the Stratford County Council hereby makes by special order, a separate rate of decimal three zero (0.30 cents) cents in the dollar, on the basis of the land value of all rateable property within the boundaries of the Ngatimaru Riding of the County of Stratford for the purpose of providing additional finance to meet the nett cost of roading works, after allowance for subsidy, in the Ngatimaru Riding, such separate rate to be for the financial year commencing from the 1st April following the day that section 107 of the aforementioned Act ceases to apply.”
