for the purpose of such public works the said lands are and will require to be taken by the said Corporation under the provisions of the above Acts, and notice is further given that a full and legal description of the lands so required is deposited in the offices of Low Chapman and Carter, Solicitors, King Street, Te Kuiti, and is open for inspection without fee during the office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded objections thereto, not being the amount or payment of compensation, must state their objections in writing and send their objections within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to The Secretary, Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, P.O. Box 12-244, Wellington North. If any such objection is made a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be notified the time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
(i) All that parcel of land containing 1360 square metres, being Lot A on Survey Office Plan 47310, Hamilton Registry, and being part of the block created by partition order of the Maori Land Court dated 15 February 1963 called Te Kumi A21A.
(ii) All that parcel of land containing 4980 square metres, being Lot EE on Survey Plan 47310, Hamilton Registry, and being part of the block created by consolidation order of the Maori Land Court dated 10 November 1936 called Te Kumi A29.
Both the said parcels of land are situated off Te Kumi, Station Road, near Te Kuiti.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Huntly Borough Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for soil conservation and river control purposes the land described in the Schedule hereto such land to be used for stopbanks and ancillary works in connection with the Waikato River flood protection works at Huntly; and notice is hereby further given that the plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the office of the Huntly Borough Council at Huntly and are there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

TUTAEKURI-WAIMATE STREAM FLOOD CONTROL AND DRAINAGE SCHEME SPECIAL RATING AREA
Classification Under Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, of Land in the Hawke’s Bay Catchment District
NOTICE is hereby given that:
(a) The land in the part of the Hawke’s Bay Catchment District described in the Schedule hereto has been classified under the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, and the classification is deemed a valid classification as from the date on which this notice is first published, namely the 4th day of March 1976.
(b) The proportions in which rates are to be imposed under that Act on the several classes of land are as follows:
Class A 100
Class B 80
Class C 50
Class D 20
Class E 5
Class F 1
Class G Nil
(c) The classification list shows the division of properties into classes to be rated according to a graduated scale.
(d) The classification list may be inspected at the Board’s Offices, 16 Vautier Street, Napier, during a period 28 days hereafter.
(e) The classification list is deemed to be a special roll of ratepayers for the purposes of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956.
(f) Any person who is dissatisfied in respect of any matter appearing in the classification list has the rights of appeal provided for by section 103 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, as substituted by section 18 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Amendment Act 1959, which rights, and any other right to commence proceedings affecting the classification, must be exercised within 49 days hereafter. Appeals will normally be made to a Magistrate’s Court, but appeals in respect of the method of making or of the form or validity of the classification as a whole may be made to the Administrative Division of the Supreme Court only.
(g) The classification has been made by Messrs P. K. Simons and G. M. Jones.
(h) Copies of the instructions given by the Board to the Classifiers and of the resolutions of the Board relative to the classification may be inspected at the Hawke’s Bay Catchment Board Office, 16 Vautier Street, Napier, during the period specified in paragraph (d) of this notice.
SCHEDULE
COMMENCING at the outlet of the Tutaekuri-Waimate Stream following the left bank of the Ngaruroro River to State Highway 50 at Omahu; thence following State Highway 50 to the Napier-Taihape Road intersection; thence following a line which encloses whole sections of land any parts of which are in the Tutaekuri-Waimate Catchment, generally including the flat land from Omahu to Moteo and Omahu to Korokino and the hill country which drains onto these flats, plus the property of Chesterhope, as more particularly described in Appendix IV of the Tutaekuri-Waimate Flood Control and Drainage Scheme Classification Report.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Tauranga City Council proposes under the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928, to take for street the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used for widening the eastern side of Cameron Road where that street intersects Chadwick Road in the City of Tauranga: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the City Manager of the said Council, Willow Street, Tauranga, and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
