IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928:
NOTICE is hereby given that the Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Upper Hutt requires to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto in connection with a public work and in connection with the provision of amenities pursuant to the Upper Hutt City District Scheme (Rimutaka Section) Recommended Review No. 2, namely in connection with a recreation reserve (proposed). Every person directly affected is hereby required to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such written objection within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, Wellington. It any such objection is made, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and such objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
ALL those pieces of land situate in the City of Upper Hutt at the northern end, and generally north-east, of Sunnyview Drive and at the northern end of the service lane off Alteyne Court containing first, 2 acres 0 roods 30.3 perches, and secondly, 1 acre, 3 roods 6.5 perches, more or less, being parts of Section 170 of the Hutt District, and being also Lots 38 and 44 on Deposited Plan 30826, subject to easement certificate 809546 and to the restrictive covenant in transfer A011771.

WELLINGTON REGIONAL WATER BOARD
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 43 of the Wellington Regional Water Board Act 1972, the Board hereby sets apart as water collection areas the lands more particularly hereinafter described.
- KARORI
ALL lands for the time being owned or controlled by or vested in the Board forming the water collection area of Karori reservoir of the Board in the City of Wellington, being all that area of land in the Wellington Land District, containing 257 hectares, more or less, being parts of Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, and 11, Upper Kaiwarra District, parts of Sections 69 and 92, Terawhiti District, parts of Section 10, Ohiro District, parts of the said parcels of land being also Lot 15 on Deposited Plan No. 2050, Lot 12 on Deposited Plan No. 7901, part of Lot 6 on Deposited Plan No. 10201, part of Lot 131 on Deposited Plan No. 410, and the lands bordered green on Deposited Plan No. 10398, and the land more particularly defined on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington under No. 258/15 some of the boundaries of the said parcels of land being more particularly delineated on Deposited Plan No. 2085 and Survey Office Plans No. 154/50, 187/16, and 187/29, as shown on map No. W.R.W.B. RL 55 a copy of which is deposited at the offices of the Board.
- HUTT-KAITOKE
ALL that area of land in the Wellington Land District owned or controlled by or vested in the Board containing 8200 hectares, more or less, forming the water collection area of the Hutt River and its tributaries which lie above the intake weir at Kaitoke, bounded by a line commencing at the water supply intake weir on the Hutt River at National grid reference 716507 and proceeding generally north-easterly along the spur south of the Hutt River to and across the Phillips Stream and proceeding generally easterly along the spur separating the Eastern Hutt River and Phillips Stream, to and north-easterly along the summit of the Tararua Range, to the summit of the Marchant Ridge; thence generally north-easterly along that summit to and generally westerly along the northern watershed of the tributaries of the Eastern Hutt River to trig. station Alpha; thence to and north-westerly along the north-eastern watershed of the tributaries of the Western Hutt River to the summit of Renata Ridge and generally westerly along the summit of Renata Ridge to the summit of Maymorn Ridge; thence to and generally southerly along the summit of Maymorn Ridge, to and generally south-easterly along the south-westerly watershed of Kerekere Stream to the point of commencement being delineated on Map No. W.R.W.B. RL 55 a copy of which is deposited at the offices of the Board.
- WAINUIOMATA
ALL that area of land in the Wellington Land District owned or controlled by or vested in the Board containing 3660 hectares, more or less, forming the water collection area of the reservoirs of the Board on the Wainuiomata River, bounded by a line commencing at a point 80 metres below the treatment plant (which is at National grid reference 532241) on the Wainuiomata River and proceeding south-easterly, to and along the south-western watershed of Sledge Track Creek, to and generally easterly along the southern watershed of George Stream, to and north-easterly along the south-eastern watershed of George Creek, to and north-easterly along the south-eastern watersheds of Sinclair Creek and of Wainuiomata River East Branch, to and generally westerly along the northern watershed of Wainuiomata River East Branch, the northern watershed of Wainuiomata River West Branch, and the northern watershed of Skull Gully Stream, to and generally southerly along the western watershed of Skull Gully Stream and along the western watershed of the Wainuiomata River to a point due north-west of the point of commencement; thence south-easterly along a right line to the point of commencement being delineated on Map No. W.R.W.B. RL 55 a copy of which is deposited at the offices of the Board.
- UPPER ORONGORONGO
ALL that area of land in the Wellington Land District owned or controlled by or vested in the Board containing 3080 hectares, more or less, forming the water collection area of the Upper Orongorongo River to 100 metres below the eastern portal of the Orongorongo-Wainuiomata pipe tunnel at approximately National grid reference 572204 which said lands are bounded by a line commencing at trig. station Puketaha AA at National grid reference 566231 and proceeding north-easterly along the north-western watershed of the tributaries of Big Huia Creek, to and generally north-easterly along the north-western watershed of the Orongorongo River, to and generally easterly along the south-eastern boundary of part Section 104, Wainuiomata District, to and south-westerly along the summit of the Rimutaka Range, to and generally southerly along the north-eastern watershed of North Boulder Creek crossing the Orongorongo River and north-westerly along the spur separating Telephone Creek and Puketaha Creek, to and generally northerly along the western watershed of Telephone Creek and Little Huia Creek to the point of commencement being delineated on Map No. W.R.W.B. RL 55 a copy of which is deposited at the offices of the Board.
