NOTICE is hereby given that applications have been made for variation of a current approval of the Minister of Customs as follows:

84.61 REQUESTED APPROVAL: Cocks and valves: Excluding: (18) Solenoid valves, 2 port, direct acting and pilot operated, sizes 3.17 mm (¼ in.) to 76.2 mm (3 in.) of pressures 0 to 1378 kPa (0 to 200 p.s.i.) excluding sizes 19.05 mm (¾ in.) and larger male flare, for use with Holo-seneous refrigerants.

Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of these applications should do so in writing on or before 4 March 1976. Submissions should include a reference to the application number, Tariff item and description of goods concerned, be addressed to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, and supported by information as to:

(a) The range of equivalent goods manufactured locally;
(b) The proportion of New Zealand and imported materials used in manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory cost in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.
