The Standards Act 1965—Draft Amendment to New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is being circulated:

DZ 9201/4 Draft amendment to NZS 9201:— Model general bylaws—
Chapter 4: 1972 Mobile or travelling shops, and hawkers and itinerant traders.

NOTE—This amendment is consequential upon the enactment of Amendment No. 1975/2 to the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 which repeals section 29 of the Auctioneers Act 1928 and section 40 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1971, and consequently allows local authorities to license hawkers.

All persons who may be affected by this amendment and who desire to comment thereon, may, on application, obtain a copy on loan from the Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Center, 15-23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington 1.

The closing date for the receipt of comment is 26 February 1976.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft Amendment to New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is being circulated:

DZ GP 37 Draft amendment to NZS GP 37:1967 Government purchasing specification for electric deep fryers.

NOTE—When issued, this amendment will lower the temperature setting requirement for the overriding thermostat in order to give a greater safety margin, and will introduce a requirement for permanent marking, setting out the checking procedure to be carried out on each occasion of use.

All persons who may be affected by this amendment and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain a copy on loan from the Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Center, 15-23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.

The closing date for the receipt of comment is 26 February 1976.
