Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims that the road described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby closed and shall, when so closed be incorporated in deferred payment licence No. D.P.F. 182, recorded in register book Volume 1B, folio 961, Gisborne Land Registry, held by Walter Leonard Little, of Ardkeen, sheep farmer, subject to mortgages 60248, 82066, and 116837.1, Gisborne Land Registry, and hereby proclaims that the road described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby closed and shall, when so closed, be incorporated in deferred payment licence No. D.P.F. 156, recorded in register book, Volume 1B, folio 837, Gisborne Land Registry, held by Douglas Herbert Maxwell, of Ardkeen, farmer, subject to mortgages 79682 and 115981.2, Gisborne Land Registry.

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the conditions as to building line contained in document No. 595639, and subject to proclamation No. 4272, defining the middle line of the Wellington-Foxton motorway, for the purpose of a pleasure ground and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington, from and after the 22nd day of December 1976.
