Approval of Motor Cycle Riding School

PURSUANT to regulation 19D (5) of the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Transport hereby approves the motor cycle riding school, listed in the Schedule hereto, to the effect that it may issue certificates of riding instruction to enable a person to obtain a full licence to drive a motor cycle in accordance with regulation 19D of the said regulations.

Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealand—Designation of Administrative Local Authority for Central Taranaki Community Arts Council

PURSUANT to section 36 of the Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealand Act 1974, I hereby designate the Stratford Borough Council to be the administrative local authority in respect of the Central Taranaki Community Arts Council.

Exemption of Crown Land from Mining

PURSUANT to section 24 (1) (a) of the Mining Act 1971, the Minister of Mines hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

THE Crown lands, described in the following Schedule, are hereby declared to be exempted from the provisions of the Mining Act 1971. Plans of the area illustrating the locality are held by the Chief Surveyor, Hokitika, and the Secretary of Mines, Wellington.

Fees Payable for Inspection of Plant Material for Export (No. 1608 Ag. 12/18/1)

THE Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. The fees, specified in the Schedule to this notice, shall be payable for the inspection of plant material for export for the purposes of health certification, on and after the 1st day of January 1977.
  2. This notice shall not apply to apples and pears exported through the New Zealand Apple and Pear Marketing Board and kiwifruit, nor to consignments, including samples, of no commercial value.
  3. Interpretation—In this notice unless the context otherwise requires:
    “Consignments” means a shipment of plant material for which a health certificate is issued irrespective of the number of inspections carried out at the one time or place.
