The Traffic (Waitemata City-Waitakere, Titirangi Wards)
Notice 1976

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waitemata City - Waitakere, Titirangi Wards) Notice 1976.
2. All roads in the Waitakere and Titirangi Wards in Waitemata City, other than those specified in the First Schedule hereto, are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
3. The roads, specified in the Second Schedule hereto, are hereby declared to be 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
4. The Traffic (Waitemata City - Waitakere, Titirangi Wards) Notice No. 2, 1975, dated the 8th day of October 1975†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to roads situated within Waitemata City is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED WITHIN WAITEMATA CITY
ADJACENT to Henderson Borough:
Chrome Place.
Eyre Street.
Fitzwater Place.
Forest Hill Road: from Henderson Valley Road to a point 320 metres measured south-westerly generally along Forest Hill Road from Pine Avenue.
Henderson Valley Road: from the south-western boundary of Henderson Borough to a point 640 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from Pine Avenue.
Parrs Cross Road: from Henderson Valley Road to a point 240 metres measured north-westerly generally along Parrs Cross Road from Holdens Road.
Pine Avenue.
Shona Place.
Spence Road.
Sturges Road: from the western boundary of Henderson Borough to a point 640 metres measured south-westerly generally along Sturges Road from the said boundary and from a point 1280 metres measured south-westerly generally along Sturges Road from the said boundary to a point 2240 metres measured south-westerly generally along Sturges Road from the said boundary.
At Huia:
Foster Avenue.
Huia Road: from a point 640 metres measured easterly generally along the said road from Foster Avenue to Upland Road.
At Laingholm and Laingholm Central:
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the eastern side of Laingholm Drive 300 metres measured northerly generally along the said roadside from Janet Road; thence across Laingholm Drive at right angles from its eastern side to its western side; thence westerly generally by a right line to a point on the north-eastern side of Victory Road opposite the northern side of Karen Road; thence across Victory Road at right angles from its north-eastern side to its south-western side; thence along the northern side of Karen Road to its terminating point; thence due south-west by a right line to the north-eastern bank of the Big Muddy Creek; thence south-easterly generally along the said bank to the shore to the western bank of the Little Muddy Creek; thence northerly generally along the said bank to a point opposite the commencing point; thence due west by a right line to the commencing point.
At Parau:
Armour Road.
Huia Road: from the Parau Track to a point 240 metres measured south-westerly generally along Huia Road from Armour Road.
At Titirangi and Green Bay:
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the shore of the Manukau Harbour where the western boundary of Auckland City meets the eastern boundary of Waitemata City; thence northerly generally along the western boundary of Auckland City to the southern boundary of New Lynn Borough; thence westerly generally along the

The Traffic (Grey County) Notice No. 2, 1976

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Grey County) Notice No. 2, 1976.
2. The road, specified in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
3. The roads, specified in the Second Schedule hereto, are hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle thereon at any time during the period commencing with the 15th day of December in each year and ending with the Tuesday following Easter each year shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of 50 kilometres an hour fixed by the said section.
4. The Traffic notice, dated the 10th day of February 1958†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to roads in Grey County at Paroa, is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Grey County at Paroa:
No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth): from a point 200 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Morleys Road to the Saltwater Creek Bridge.

SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Grey County at Paroa and Rutherglen:
Gilbert Road.
Marsden Road: from the No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) at Paroa to a point 60 metres measured easterly generally along Marsden Road from the Shantytown turnout.
