  1. Special Fares—Wellington District: (i) Railway employees' monthly season tickets issued under the provisions of section 34, for travel on the Wellington-Johnsonville line will be charged as follows:

  1. Local Commuter Fares: Wellington/Upper Hutt-Masterton

  2. General: Single, 10-trip, and monthly season tickets at fares specified in paragraph 6 hereof, will be issued between stations Maymorn-Masterton inclusive, and any other station on the Wellington-Masterton line.

  3. Single Tickets: (a) Single tickets will have unlimited availability.
    (b) Single tickets will also be issued from any station on the Wellington/Upper Hutt-Masterton line to any station on the Wellington-Johnsonville or the Wellington-Paraparaumu suburban lines at the two appropriate local fares, or at the section 2 fare on continuous distance, whichever is the cheaper.
    (c) Except where break of journey is necessitated by train services, single tickets will not be available for break of journey.
    (d) Children 4 years of age and under 15 years of age will be charged half the adult fare.
    (e) Return journeys will be charged double the single fare and will be issued at attended stations only.

  4. 10-trip Tickets: (a) 10-trip tickets will be transferable and have unlimited availability, except that those 10-trip concession tickets bearing an endorsement restricting the availability for use up to and including the date endorsed thereon will be available for use up to and including that date only.
    (b) 10-trip tickets will not be issued between stations on the Wellington/Upper Hutt-Masterton line and stations on the Wellington - Johnsonville and Wellington - Paraparaumu suburban lines.
    (c) Except where the break of journey is necessitated by the train services, 10-trip tickets will not be available for break of journey.
    (d) No reduction in the charge for 10-trip tickets will be made for children. One or two children 4 years of age and under 15 years of age travelling on a 10-trip ticket, will, however, count as one adult, and each additional one or two children will count as one adult.
    (e) 10-trip tickets will be issued at attended stations only.
    (f) Where two or more passengers are travelling on one 10-trip ticket such passengers must occupy seats in the same compartment or carriage.

  5. Monthly Season Tickets: Monthly Season tickets will be issued subject to the conditions specified in section 25.
