Bulk Travel Vouchers
Charges—Except as otherwise provided in this section bulk travel voucher books entitling the purchaser to be issued tickets to the total value thereof for travel by all Railways Passenger services (i.e., rail, road, and/or Cook Strait rail ferries) will be issued at the following rates:

Bulk travel voucher books purchased for $500 value or more will be charged at $87.50 per $100 value.

Bulk travel voucher books will be issued in multiples of $100. (minimum issue $200 per book.)

Conditions—(a) Tickets will be issued on presentation of the voucher at Railway or Road Service booking offices and accredited Booking Agencies only. Tickets must be held by passengers for each journey to be made.
(b) Application for a bulk travel voucher book may be lodged with any District Traffic Manager, Area Traffic Manager, Stationmaster, Branch Manager, or Officer in Charge of a Railway Road Services Depot.
(c) Bulk travel voucher books will be issued in the name of a firm, person, or Government department. They will not be issued for the purpose of resale of tickets. Tickets issued in respect of bulk travel vouchers will be transferable.
Bulk travel vouchers will be available for the purchase of rail tickets issued under the following sections only—2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, and 13.
Bulk travel vouchers will not be available on railway or road services suburban routes, sightseeing trips, special tours, or for motor vehicle transport or day excursion trips on the Cook Strait rail ferries.
The actual fare is to be deducted from the bulk travel voucher book in every instance.
Bulk travel vouchers will not be available for the purchase of tickets issued under the concessions available in section 21.
