Amending a Notice Declaring Land Acquired for a Govern-
ment Work and not Required for that Purpose to be Crown
Land

PURSUANT to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928,
the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the
notice, dated the 6th day of September 1976, published in
New Zealand Gazette, No. 100, 16 September 1976, p. 2132,
declaring land acquired for a Government work and not
required for that purpose to be Crown land by deleting the
line in the area schedule thereto that read:

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve to Scenic Purposes and
Addition of the Reserve to Punakaiki Scenic Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve, described
in the Schedule hereto, from a reserve for gravel purposes
to a reserve for scenic purposes, and further, declares the
said reserve to form part of the Punakaiki scenic reserve,

to be administered as a scenic reserve by the Punakaiki
Scenic Board.

Resumption of Unformed Road in Blocks VI and X, Whaka-
tane Survey District, Whakatane District

PURSUANT to section 191B of the Counties Act 1956, the
Minister of Lands hereby declares that the land, described
in the Schedule hereto, has been transferred to the Crown
by the Whakatane District Council, pursuant to the said
section 191B, and as from the date of this notice the land
shall be deemed to be Crown land subject to the Land Act
1948.
