PURSUANT to the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1964,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby
re-appoints
Philip Keith McCliskie, J.P., Esquire, of Richmond, Nelson,
as a director of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, to hold
office during pleasure for a term of three years from the
1st day of December 1976.

Discontinuing Civil Jurisdiction at the Magistrate's Court
at Kaikoura
DENIS BLUNDELL, Governor-General
WHEREAS by an instrument, dated the 15th day of December
1948, published in the Gazette on the 16th day of the same
month at page 1542, the Borough of Kaikoura was appointed
a borough in which a Magistrate's Court may be held for
the exercise of civil jurisdiction:
And whereas it is expedient to revoke the said appointment:
Now, therefore, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting pursuant
to subsection (5) of section 4 of the Magistrate's Courts
Act 1947, do hereby revoke the appointment of the Borough
of Kaikoura, and do declare that this revocation shall take
effect on and after the 1st day of December 1976.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
this 14th day of November 1976.
