DECLARATION OF RESULT OF POLL ON A PROPOSAL TO CHANGE THE SYSTEM OF RATING IN THE WAIKOUAITI COMMUNITY FROM THE CAPITAL VALUE SYSTEM TO THE LAND VALUE SYSTEM
PURSUANT to section 16 of the Rating Act 1967, I hereby give notice that, at a poll of ratepayers of the Waikouaiti Community taken on Saturday, the 30th day of October 1976 on a proposal that the system of rating in the said community be changed from the capital value system to the land value system:
The number of votes recorded for capital value rating was ……… 53.
The number of votes recorded for land value rating was ……… 123.
The number of informal votes was ……… 1.
I, therefore, declare that the proposal to change the system of rating in the Waikouaiti community from the capital value system to the land value system was carried.
