Approval of Motor Cycle Riding School

Pursuant to regulation 19D (5) of the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964, the Minister of Transport hereby approves the motor cycle riding school, listed in the Schedule hereto, to the effect that it may issue certificates of riding instruction to enable a person to obtain a full licence to drive a motor cycle in accordance with regulation 19D of the said regulations.

Defining the Boundaries of an Area in Te Kouma Harbour on which Oysters Have been Planted (No. 1551 Ag. 42/7/7)

Pursuant to section 7 of the Fisheries Amendment Act 1965, I hereby define the boundaries of the following area in Te Kouma Harbour as an area on which oysters have been planted:

All that area in Te Kouma Harbour enclosed within a line commencing at the intersection of lines bearing 70 degrees from Lighthouse Point at the entrance to the harbour and 345 degrees from Johnson Point, then bearing 160 degrees for 84 metres, then bearing 70 degrees for 114 metres, then bearing 340 degrees for 84 metres, and then bearing 250 degrees for 114 metres back to the point of commencement, as more particularly delineated on the map numbered MAF 72, deposited in the Head Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries at Wellington.

The Traffic (Taumarunui County) Notice No. 1, 1976

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Taumarunui County) Notice No. 1, 1976.
  2. The roads, specified in the Schedule hereto, are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
  3. The Traffic (Taumarunui County) Notice No. 1, 1972, dated the 5th day of May 1972*, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, which relates to roads situated within Taumarunui County at Omori is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Taumarunui County at Omori:
Pukuwa Road: from a point 480 metres measured southerly generally along the said road from Pihanga Road to a point 1.120 kilometres measured southerly generally along Pukawa Road from Pihanga Road.
SITUATED within Taumarunui County at Pukawa Settlement: Hauraki Terrace.
Kaiuru Avenue: from a point 250 metres measured southerly generally along Kaiuru Avenue from Hauraki Terrace to a point 450 metres measured northerly generally along the said Avenue from the said Terrace.
Waiparemo Crescent.

Pursuant to section 7 of the Fisheries Amendment Act 1965, I hereby define the boundaries of the following area in Coromandel Harbour as an area on which oysters have been planted:

All that area in Coromandel Harbour enclosed within a line commencing approximately at the intersection of lines bearing 130 degrees from Blackmore Point in McGregor Bay and 40 degrees from Ruffins Point, then bearing 220 degrees for 169 metres, then bearing 130 degrees for 281 metres, then bearing 40 degrees for 169 metres, then bearing 310 degrees for 281 metres back to the point of commencement, as more particularly delineated on the map numbered MAF 67, deposited in the Head Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries at Wellington.

Volkner Islets Air Weapons Range Permanent Danger Area

It is hereby notified that practice bombing, flare dropping, gunnery, and rocket firing will take place from time to time in the area known as the Volkner Islets air weapons range, being the area described in the Schedule hereunder.
All aircraft using this area for these purposes will be duly authorised by the Commanding Officer, RNZAF Base, Ohakea.
The notice of practice bombing and rocket firing notified in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 78, 6 December 1962, Vol. III, page 2188, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE
THAT area situated near White Island in the Bay of Plenty enclosed in a circle having a radius of 1.5 nautical miles centred on the largest of the group of islets known as Volkner Islets at a point 37° 28' 45" south 177° 08' 10" east.
