THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

Declaring Street Taken for Railway Purposes at Gisborne
Pursuant to section 45 of the Government Railways Act 1949
and sections 32 and 216 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement
to that effect having been entered into, the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railway purposes
from and after the 11th day of October 1976.

All that piece of land described as follows:

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L.O. 29311 (S.O. 6614) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Railways at Wellington and thereon marked
as above mentioned.

Railway Land Proclaimed as Street at Gisborne
Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Railways hereby proclaims as street and vests
in the Mayor, Councillors and Citizens of the City of Gisborne
the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Both those pieces of land described as follows:

and described in Gazette, 1900, p. 1692, Proc. 70,
and former closed street being part of the land
comprised and described in Gazette, 1908, p. 2302,
Proc. 139, marked E on plan.
1 Part Lot 1, D.P. 2956, being part of the land comprised
and described in Gazette, 1952, p. 1730, Proc. 1230,
marked G on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L.O. 29311 (S.O. 6614) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon marked
as above mentioned.

Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work (Gisborne-
Karaka Railway and Additional Land for the Gisborne-
Rotorua Railway) at Gisborne and not now Required for
that Purpose to be Crown Land
Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in
the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land
Act 1948, as from the 11th day of October 1976.
