OF G. M. BROWN CONTRACTORS LIMITED:

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up
of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was,
on the 26th day of August 1976, presented to the said Court
by WINSTONE LIMITED, a duly incorporated company having
its registered office at Auckland, merchants; and that the said
petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at
Auckland on the 29th day of September 1976 at 10 o’clock in
the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said
company desirous to appear or oppose the making of an
order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing
in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of
the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any
creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy
on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, the Municipal
Corporations Act 1954, and their respective amendments:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts,
and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in
that behalf, to execute a certain public work, namely, housing
in the City of Wellington, and for the purpose of that public
work the land, described in the Schedule hereto, is required
to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan
of the land, which is required to be taken, is deposited in
the Public Office Building, Mercer Street, and is there open
for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary
office hours and that any person affected by the taking of
the said land should, if he has any objection to the taking
of the said land, not being an objection to amount or pay-
ment of compensation, send his written objection within
40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town
and Country Planning Appeal Board, The Terrace, Welling-
ton; and notice is hereby further given that if any objec-
tion is made as aforesaid a public hearing of that objection
will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and
each objector will be advised of the time and place of that
hearing and at that hearing each objector will be advised
of the reasons for the proposed taking.

SCHEDULE

FIRST, all that parcel of land containing 140 square metres,
more or less, situate in the City of Wellington, being part
of Section 26 of the Ohiro District, being also part Lot 21
on Deposited Plan No. 9318, and being part of the land
comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 535,
folio 27, Wellington Land Registry, as the same is more
particularly delineated on S.O. Plan 30924, and thereon
marked “Pt 21”.

Second, all that parcel of land containing 131 square metres,
more or less, situate in the City of Wellington, being part
of Section 26 of the Ohiro District, being also part Lot 22
on Deposited Plan No. 9318, and being part of the land
comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 543,
