SECOND SCHEDULE

  1. Aircraft—Except in accordance with written permission previously obtained from the Board—

(a) No person, whether a pilot or passenger, shall land within or depart from the park on any aircraft (including aeroplanes, helicopters, gliders, hang-gliders, balloons);

(b) No person shall land in the park by parachute;

(c) No person within the park shall use or operate or attempt to use or operate a hang-glider.

This bylaw shall not apply in cases of emergency.

Further, no person, operator, or pilot in command of an aircraft of any description, shall make use of any part of the park, whether land or water, for the purpose of setting down, picking up, or recovery from within the park of any person, livestock, carcass, or article of any description, except in accordance with the written permission of the Board previously obtained.

The requirement for written permission of the Board may be waived in such cases as the Board may nominate at its discretion but this does not absolve persons from compliance with any requirements that the Director of Civil Aviation may stipulate.

The Board shall be entitled at any time to prohibit the entry by the public to any part or parts of the park the use of which as aerodromes or landing grounds is permitted by the Board.

THIRD SCHEDULE

(a) No person whether a pilot or passenger shall make use of any part of the park whether land or water for the purpose of the landing or alighting thereon or flying therefrom on any aircraft (including aeroplanes, helicopters, gliders, hang-gliders, balloons);

(b) No person shall land in the park by parachute;

(c) No person within the park shall use or operate or attempt to use or operate a hang-glider.

This bylaw shall not apply at public licenced aerodromes or Government civil aerodromes in the park or in cases of emergency.

Further, no person, operator, or pilot in command of an aircraft of any description shall make use of any part of the park whether land or water for the purpose of setting down, picking up, or recovery from within the park of any person, livestock, carcass, or article of any description except in accordance with the written permission of the Board previously obtained.

Revoking the Free Port of Hamburg as an Approved Freezer Store for the Supply of Ships Meat (No. 1317 Ag. 100/24)

PURSUANT to regulation 2 (1) of the Ships Meat Lockers Regulations 1966*, the notice entitled Freezer Stores Approved as Stores for the Supply of Ships Meat† is hereby amended by revoking the approval of the freezer stores at the free port of Hamburg as an approved store for ships meat.

The Overseas Investment Exemption Notice 1975, No. 1

PURSUANT to the Overseas Investment Regulations 1974*, hereinafter referred to as the regulations, the Overseas Investment Commission hereby gives the following notice of exemption.

NOTICE

  1. Title—This notice may be cited as the Overseas Investment Exemption Notice 1975, No. 1.

  2. Exemption of Transactions of Certain Overseas Persons from the Regulations—Every person that is a company within the meaning of the Companies Act 1955, and is an overseas person within the meaning of regulation 2 (1) of the regulations but which would not be an overseas person if the shares in the company registered in the names of any of the persons mentioned in the Schedule hereto were held by persons who are not overseas persons except where the company in question is a subsidiary as defined in regulation 2 (2) of the regulations of one of the persons mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby exempted from the application of the provisions of regulation 4 in Part I and all of the provisions of Parts II and III of the regulations.

  3. Exemption from Regulation 3 (1) (a) of Certain Borrowings Outside New Zealand—Every person being a body corporate incorporated in New Zealand or being an unincorporated body of persons (other than a partnership in which none of the partners is a body corporate incorporated in New Zealand) carrying on business in New Zealand or any person acting as a nominee for or on behalf of any such body corporate or unincorporated body is hereby exempted from the provisions of regulation 3 (1) (a) of the regulations in respect of borrowings for a term not exceeding a total of 12 months where the moneys borrowed are used exclusively for the purpose of financing the export of goods from New Zealand or the import of goods into New Zealand by the borrower.

  4. Revocation—The following notice is hereby revoked: The Overseas Investment Exemption Notice 1974, No. 2 (Gazette, 28 August 1975, No. 70, p. 1911).
