SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of November 1974.

(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Portage Licensing Trust

PURSUANT to section 34n of the Licensing Trusts Act 1949, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, give notice that the Portage Licensing Trust on 10 December 1975 passed a resolution authorising a variation of the usual hours of sale of liquor to the public and further resolved the following hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Glen Eden Bottle Store.

Opening: 9.00 a.m. Monday to Saturday (inclusive).

Closing: 8.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday (inclusive).

Notifying the Exchange of State Forest Land in the Nelson Land District for Other Land

NOTICE is hereby given that the area described in the First Schedule hereto has been acquired as State forest land by way of exchange for the area described in the Second Schedule hereto, pursuant to section 22 of the Forests Act 1949.

Description of Area Acquired

Lot 1, L.T. Plan 8186, being part Section 117, Block IV, Wangaeka Survey District: area, 2.0461 hectares (5 acres 9 perches), more or less, part certificate of title, Volume 20, folio 75.

Also Lot 2, L.T. Plan 8186, being part Sections 47, 48, and 70, Square 6, situated in Blocks IV and VIII, Wangaeka Survey District: area, 6.6444 hectares (16 acres 1 rood 27 perches), more or less, part certificate of title, Volume 72, folio 51 (limited as to parcels).

Description of Area Exchanged

Sections 179 and 180, Square 6, situated in Blocks IV and VIII, Wangaeka Survey District, and being formerly parts of Lot 1, D.P. 7895: area, 10.3725 hectares (25 acres 2 roods 21 perches), more or less, part certificate of title, Volume 3C, folio 739. S.O. Plan 11628.

State Forest Land Set Apart as a Recreation Area

PURSUANT to section 63b of the Forests Act 1949, the Minister of Forests hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a recreation area available for public recreation to be known as the Gwavas Recreation Area.

FIRSTLY, part Lot 1, D.P. 7157, being part Block 3, Gwavas Crown Grant District, situated in Block VIII, Wakarara Survey District: area, 4.2500 hectares approximately, part State Forest in New Zealand Gazette, 1947, p. 525.

Secondly, part Lots 2 and 6, D.D. P. 156, and part Lot 2, D.D. P. 463, being part Blocks 1 and 3, Gwavas Crown Grant District, situated in Block V, Marakakaho Survey District, and Block VIII, Wakarara Survey District: area, 198.7500 hectares approximately, part State Forest in New Zealand Gazette, 1947, p. 448.

Plant Declared a Noxious Weed Under the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 in the County of Waipawa (No. 1318 Ag. 12/10/5/5)

PURSUANT to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Act 1953, for the purposes of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the following Special Order made by the Waipawa County Council on the 20th day of November 1975 is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER

“THE Waipawa County Council acting on behalf of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waipawa hereby makes and declares by Special Order the following to be a noxious weed pursuant to the powers conferred by the Counties Act 1956, the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and any other Act or authority in any way enabling the Council in that behalf.

SCHEDULE

Johnson grass (Sorghum halepense).”
