PURSUANT to the 'Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following Order.
ORDER

(1) This Order may be cited as the Pests of Local Importance Order 1975.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after its notification in the Gazette. -
The rook is hereby declared a Pest of Local Importance in the Ruahine and Western Pest Destruction Districts.

PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following Order.
ORDER

This Order may be cited as the Redefinition of the Boundaries of the Omarama Pest Destruction District Order 1975.

The boundaries of the Omarama Pest Destruction District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 1st day of April 1974*, are hereby redefined and, as from the commencement of this Order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE OMARAMA PEST DESTRUCTION DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Waitaki and Maniototo Counties, containing 193 700 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the Waitaki and Otematata Rivers and proceeding generally north-westerly along the middle of the Waitaki River, Lake Benmore, and the Ohau River to the southern shore of Lake Ohau; thence generally westerly and northerly along the southern and western shores of Lake Ohau to the middle of the Hopkins River; thence generally northerly and north-westerly along the middle of that river and the Temple Stream and south-westerly along the middle of the south branch of that stream to its source; thence south-westerly along a right line to Mount Maitland on the generally eastern boundary of part Run 94, Hunter and Stafford Survey Districts; thence generally southerly, south-easterly, and south-westerly along the generally eastern, north-eastern, and south-eastern boundaries of part Run 94 and the middle of Snowy Gorge Creek and its production to the middle of the Ahuriri River; thence generally south-easterly along the middle of that river to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Run 201B, Ahuriri Survey District; thence south-westerly and generally southerly to and along the north-western and generally western boundaries of that run and the western and south-western boundaries of Run 201G and the western and south-western boundaries of Run 201E and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of an unnamed road; thence south-westerly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the generally northern boundary of Run 684, Hawkdun Survey District; thence generally easterly and north-easterly to and along the generally northern and north-western boundaries of that Run 684 to the western side of Chipped Track Road; thence south-easterly along a right line to and along the north-eastern boundary of the said Run 684 to the generally western boundary of Run 322E; thence north-easterly along a right line to Trig. E, Hawkdun Survey District, on the generally eastern boundary of the said Run 322E; thence generally southerly along the generally eastern boundaries of that run and Run 582 to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned run; thence generally north-easterly along the generally north-western boundary of Run 227, Turnagain Survey District, and its production to the middle of Clear Stream; thence generally south-easterly and north-easterly along the middle of Clear Stream and the Otematata River to the point of commencement.
