MATTER of a special partnership known as MATAURI FARM
LIMITED AND COMPANY:
WE, DOUGLAS ALAN ARLIDGE, of Waipukurau, builder, ALBERT
EDWARD GEORGE JULL, of Waipukurau, merchant, NEIL
ALEXANDER FORBES MCHARDY, of Waipawa, farmer, MICHAEL
ROSS LANGTRY, of Shannon, farmer, ROBERT LLOYD UPPERTON,
of Waipukurau, company manager, and MATAURI FARM
LIMITED, a duly incorporated company having its registered
office at Waipawa do hereby jointly and severally certify
in manner following that is to say:

That we sign this certificate with intent that it be
registered in the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Palmers-
ton North for the purpose of formation under the provisions
of Part II of the Partnership Act 1908 of a Special Partner-
ship to be carried on after duly formed under the style
or firm name of "Matauri Farm Limited and Company"
(hereinafter called "the partnership"). -
That the names and places of residence of all of the
partners in the partnership are as follows:
(a) The Only General Partner is MATAURI FARM LIMITED
a duly incorporated company having its registered
office at Waipawa, the only shareholders in which
company are:
DOUGLAS ALAN ARLIDGE, who resides at 9A Gaisford
Terrace, Waipukurau.
ALBERT EDWARD GEORGE JULL, who resides at
Lindsay Road, Waipukurau.
MICHAEL ROSS LANGTRY, who resides at Shannon.
NEIL ALEXANDER FORBES MCHARDY, who resides
at "Aramoana", R.D. 1, Waipawa.
ROBERT LLOYD UPPERTON, who resides at 80
Porangahau Road, Waipukurau.
(b) The Only Special Partners are the abovenamed and
described Douglas Alan Arlidge, Albert Edward
George Jull, Michael Ross Langtry, Neil Alexander
Forbes McHardy and Robert Lloyd Upperton. -
That the special partners above named contribute to
the capital of the partnership the sums respectively set beside
their names hereunder namely:

by the partnership is farming and afforestation. -
That the principal place at which the business of the
partnership is to be transacted is in the Wellington province
and more particularly in the rural area centred on Shannon. -
That the partnership is to commence forthwith after
this certificate shall have been registered in the office of
the Supreme Court at Palmerston North, and is to terminate
on the day 6 years and 364 days after the date of such
registration.

of MOATS OFFICE EQUIPMENT LIMITED:
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up
of the abovenamed company by the Supreme Court was on
the 21st day of July 1975 presented to the said Court by
PENTAGON DISTRIBUTORS LIMITED a duly incorporated com-
pany having its registered office at 330 Parnell Road, Auck-
land, and carrying on business as wholesalers of electrical
equipment and that the said petition is directed to be heard
before the Court sitting at Hamilton on the 13th day of
November 1975 at 10 o'clock in the forenoon; and any
creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to
support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition
may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel
for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished
by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the
said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated
charge for the same.

named, notice in writing of his intention so to do. The notice

and an address for service within three (3) miles of the
Supreme Court at Hamilton and must be signed by the person
or firm or his or their solicitor (if any) and must be served,
or if posted must be sent by post in sufficient time to reach
the abovenamed petitioner's address for service not later than
4 o'clock on the afternoon of the 12 November 1975.

In the matter of the Industrial and Provident Societies Act
1908, and the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter
of the UNIVERSITIES SAVINGS AND INVESTMENT
SOCIETY LTD.:
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 15 of the Industrial
and Provident Societies Act 1908, that, the abovenamed com-
pany, on the 24th day of October 1975, resolved by way
of extraordinary resolution, that the company cannot by reason
of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable
to wind up voluntarily.
A meeting of the creditors of the above-named company
will be held in Room 45, University of Canterbury Students'
Association Building, Ilam Road, Christchurch, on Wednesday,
the 5th day of November 1975, at 2.30 o'clock in the after-
noon.
Business:
- Consideration of a statement of the position of the com-
pany's affairs and list of creditors, etc. - Nomination of liquidator.
- Appointment of committee of inspection, if thought fit.
A general form of proxy is enclosed. Proxies to be used
at the meeting must be lodged at the registered office of the
company, University of Canterbury Students' Association
Building, Ilam Road, Christchurch, not later than 4 o'clock
in the afternoon of the 4th day of November 1975. Proxies
may be posted to P.O. Box 8278, Riccarton, provided they
reach the box by the time and date stipulated above.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT NOTIFIED
MINISTRY OF WORKS AND DEVELOPMENT
Waiau Plains Irrigation Scheme
THE Commission for the Environment gives notice that it
has received an environmental impact report on the pro-
posal to take up to 11 cumecs of water from the Waiau
River and to use this for the irrigation of 17,000 hectares
of farmland in the Culverden-Rotherham area between the
Waiau and Hurunui Rivers.
