Marine Reserve, Fire Districts, Military Appointments




2428 THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE No. 98

  1. The area described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
    declared to be a marine reserve subject to the Marine Reserves
    Act 1971.

  2. The costs of providing necessary navigational marks as
    required by the Ministry of Transport, but not the costs of
    their maintenance or renewal, shall be borne by the Ministry
    of Agriculture and Fisheries.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 547 hectares, more or less,
situated in Block I, Rodney Survey District, being part bed
of the sea; as shown on plan M.A.F. 53 (S.O. 50092), de-
posited in the office of the Minister of Agriculture and
Fisheries at Wellington, and thereon marked "A".

PURSUANT to the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby abolishes all Rural Fire Districts described in the Schedule hereto and revokes the orders constituting these
districts, made and published as set out in the said Schedule.

Appointments, Promotions, Extensions, Transfers, Resigna-
tions, and Retirements of Officers of the Royal New Zealand
Air Force

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Defence Act 1971, His
Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following
appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations,
and retirements of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air
Force:

REGULAR AIR FORCE
GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH
Appointments
Squadron Leader N. J. Wood is appointed to a permanent
commission with effect from 12 September 1975.
Flight Lieutenant H. S. R. Saunders to be acting Squadron
Leader with effect from 8 September 1975 and temp. Squadron
Leader with effect from 15 September 1975.

Promotions
Flying Officer P. H. Johnson to be Flight Lieutenant with
seniority and effect from 17 September 1975.
The following Pilot Officers to be Flying Officers with
seniority and effect from 20 September 1975:

D. F. Beck.
C. O. Inch.
P. A. O'Reilly.
D. V. F. Hamilton.
M. M. Watt.
C. F. Kelly.

Transfers to Reserve
Squadron Leader Peter David Smillie is transferred to the
Reserve of Air Force Officers until 29 September 1978, with
effect from 23 October 1974.
Flight Lieutenant Barry James Mitchell is transferred to
the Reserve of Air Force Officers until 8 July 1979, with
effect from 9 July 1975.

Resignation of Commission
Pilot Officer Victor Ernest Mail resigns his commission
with effect from 28 June 1975.

Cancellation of Commission
The short-service commission of acting Pilot Officer Edward
Errol Dominic Anselm Johnston is cancelled with effect from
9 September 1975.
