Declaring Land Taken for Road in Block III, Winton Hundred, Southland County

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land, described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for road and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Southland from and after the 30th day of October 1975.

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Southland; and also hereby proclaims that the road described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby closed and shall when so closed, vest in Colin Ronald Humphries of Mataura, farmer, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 194681, 214262, and 243007, Southland Land Registry.
