The Stabilisation of Prices Regulations (Amendment to Schedules) Notice No. 2, 1975

PURSUANT to regulation 35 of the Stabilisation of Prices Regulations 1974*, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby gives the following notice:

Title and commencement—
(1) This notice may be cited as the Stabilisation of Prices Regulations (Amendment to Schedules) Notice No. 2 1975.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the day of its notification in the Gazette. -
Interpretation—
In this notice, the expression “the Regulations”, means the Stabilisation of Prices Regulations 1974*. -
First Schedule to the Regulations amended—
The First Schedule to the Regulations is hereby amended by:
(a) Adding under the general heading of “Building Materials” before the item “Timber (New Zealand grown)”, the following item:
“Sheet window glass sold by New Zealand Window Glass Limited”.
(b) Omitting under the general heading of “Chemicals and Chemical Substances” the subheading “Petroleum products” and the items “Petrol” and “Diesel and fuel oil”.
(c) Adding after the item “Canned foods and canned pet foods manufactured by persons whose annual turnover exceeds $1,000,000”, under the general heading of “Foodstuffs and Related Commodities”, the words “and sold by such persons”.
(d) Adding after the item “Soap, washing powders, and detergents manufactured by persons whose annual turnover exceeds $1,000,000” under the general heading of “Foodstuffs and Related Commodities”, the words “and sold by such persons”.
(e) Omitting under the general heading of “Foodstuffs and Related Commodities”, the item “Tobacco, including raw tobacco leaf” and substituting the item “Tobacco, not including raw tobacco as defined in the Tobacco Growing Industry Act 1974”.
(f) Adding after the item “Vegetables, dried or frozen, with or without other ingredients”, under the general heading of “Foodstuffs and Related Commodities”, the words “sold by manufacturers whose annual turnover exceeds $1,000,000.”
(g) Adding under the general heading of “Miscellaneous”, before the item “television receivers, colour,” the following item:
“‘Liquefied petroleum gas’ as defined in the Natural Gas Corporation Act 1967”. -
Second Schedule to the Regulations amended—
The Second Schedule to the Regulations is hereby amended by adding the following clause:
“15. Raw tobacco as defined in the Tobacco Growing Industry Act 1974”.

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby gives the following notice:
- This notice may be cited as the Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1974, Amendment No. 3 and shall be read together with, and deemed to be part of the Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1974* (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).
