said council in the Municipal Offices Building, 5 Mercer
Street, in the said city, and is there open for inspection
without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours and
that any person, affected by the taking of the said land,
should, if he has any objection to the taking of the said
land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of
compensation send his written objection within 40 days from
the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country
Planning Appeal Board, 172 The Terrace, Wellington and
notice is hereby further given that if any objection is made
as aforesaid a public hearing of that objection will be held,
unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector
will be advised of the time and place of that hearing and

Tenth, all that parcel of land containing 15.1366 hectares,
more or less, situate in Block X, Port Nicholson Survey
District, in the City of Wellington, being part subdivision 17
of Section 21, Owhiro District, and being part of the land
comprised and described in certificates of title, Volume 401,
folio 279, and Volume 515, folio 31, Wellington Land
Registry; as the same is more particularly delineated on S.O.
Plan 30160 and thereon marked L.

This land comprising part of the ridge lying generally along
a north-south line, approximately 180 metres west of Happy
Valley Road, and including part of the Valley to the westward
of this ridge, the whole being situated some 180 metres
to the north-west of G. R. Stevens and Company Limited's
factory in Happy Valley Road, and being part of the land
presently owned by the Maori Trustee, and held under lease
by G. J. Stevens Development Limited.

MOUNT MAUNGANUI BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE INTERESTS IN LANDS
TAKE notice that under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954
and the Public Works Act 1928, the Mount Maunganui
Borough Council proposes to take for drainage and sanitation
works easements over the lands described in the Schedule
hereto, to allow the laying of and access to a pipeline from
oxidation ponds to an ocean outfall in the Bay of Plenty.
A plan of the lands affected and the easements thereover
is deposited and open for inspection at the public office
of the Mount Maunganui Borough Council. Every person
directly affected and wishing to make any objection, not
being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation,
is hereby called upon to set forth such objection in
writing and to send the same within forty (40) days after
the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country
Planning Appeal Board. If any objection is made in accordance
with this notice a public hearing of the same will be
held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector
will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

(a) Part Papamoa No. 2, Section 9B, and part of the land
in certificate of title, Volume 893, folio 291 (South Auckland
Land Registry).

(b) Part Papamoa No. 2 Burial Reserve and part of the
land in certificate of title, Volume 59, folio 292 (South Auckland

(c) Part Papamoa No. 2 Burial Reserve and part of the
land in certificate of title, Volume 59, folio 292 (South Auckland
Land Registry), (easement to be relinquished on
completion of work).

hereto, has been classified under the Soil Conservation and
Rivers Control Act 1941, and the classification is deemed a
valid classification as from the date on which this notice
is first published, namely 23 October 1975.

ALL the lands within the Southland Catchment District, shown
