WELLINGTON REGIONAL WATER BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and in the matter of the Wellington Regional Water Board Act 1972:
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington Regional water Board duly constituted under the Wellington Regional Water Board Act 1972, proposes under the provisions of the abovementioned Acts and of all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it on that behalf to execute a public work namely waterworks and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands which are required to be taken is deposited at the offices of the Wellington Regional Water Board, Third Floor, M.E.D. Building, Lower Cuba Street, Wellington, the respective pieces of land described in the said Schedule being more particularly delineated on such plan which is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. Any person affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said pieces of land or any of them should, if he has any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said pieces of land or any of them (not being an objection to the amount of payment of compensation), send his written objection within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, P.O. Box 12-244, Wellington North, and notice is hereby further given that if any objection is made as aforesaid a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and that each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing and that at that hearing each objector will be advised of the reason of the proposed taking.

  3. All that piece of land situate in Block XV of the Akatarawa Survey District, containing 78 acres, more or less, being part of Section 182, Hutt District, and being the whole of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 440, folio 218, Wellington Registry (limited as to parcels).
  4. All that piece of land situate in Block XV of the Akatarawa Survey District, containing 278 acres 2 roods 19.95 perches, more or less, being part of Section 420, Hutt District, part of the said parcel of land being also Lots 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 20, 28, 32, 33, 34, 36, and part of Lots 2, 6, 25, and 38 on Deposited Plan No. 111, being the whole of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 441, folio 47, Wellington Registry.
  5. All that piece of land situate in Blocks XI and XV of the Akatarawa Survey District, containing 976 acres, more or less, being Section 3 on Deposited Plan No. 1820, and being the whole of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 160, folio 49, Wellington Registry.
  6. All that piece of land situate in Block XV of the Akatarawa Survey District, containing 3 acres and 18 perches, more or less, being part of Section 420, Hutt District, and being also Lot 30 on Deposited Plan No. 111, and being the whole of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume B3, folio 1098, Wellington Registry.
