The Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1974, Amendment No.2
Pursuant to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby gives the following notice:

  1. This notice may be cited as the Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1974 Amendment No. 2 and shall be read together with, and deemed to be part of the Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1974* (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).

  2. This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  3. The principal notice is hereby amended by
    (a) Omitting under the general heading of “Services”, the item “Gas supply”
    (b) Adding under the general heading of “Miscellaneous”, before the item “television receivers, colour”, the following item:
    “gas, natural or manufactured, other than sales of natural gas under the Gas Purchase Contract made the 31st day of July 1967 between Shell (Petroleum Mining) Company Ltd., B.P. (Oil Exploration) Company of New Zealand Ltd., Todd Petroleum Mining Company Ltd. as sellers and the Minister of Mines as the buyer.”

    The Stabilisation of Prices Regulations (Amendment to Schedules) Notice 1975
    Pursuant to regulation 35 of the Stabilisation of Prices Regulations 1974
    , the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby gives the following notice.

  4. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Stabilisation of Prices Regulations (Amendment to Schedules) Notice 1975.
    (2) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  5. Interpretation—In this notice, the expression “the Regulations”, means the Stabilisation of Prices Regulations 1974*.

  6. First Schedule to the Regulations amended—The First Schedule to the Regulations is hereby amended by
    (a) Omitting under the general heading of “Services”, the item “Gas supply”
    (b) Adding under the general heading of “Miscellaneous” before the item “television receivers, colour”, the following item:
    “gas, natural or manufactured, other than sales of natural gas under the Gas Purchase Contract made the 31st day of July 1967 between Shell (Petroleum Mining) Company Ltd., B.P. (Oil Exploration) Company of New Zealand Ltd., Todd Petroleum Mining Company Ltd. as sellers and the Minister of Mines as the buyer.”

  7. Second Schedule to the Regulations amended—The Second Schedule to the Regulations is hereby amended by adding the following clause:
    “14. Natural gas sold under the Gas Purchase Contract made the 31st day of July 1967 between Shell (Petroleum Mining) Company Ltd., B.P. (Oil Exploration) Company of New Zealand Ltd., Todd Petroleum Mining Company Ltd. as sellers and the Minister of Mines as the buyer.”
