His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to
appoint

Stanley James Edgar
to be a member of the Otago Harbour Board as a representative
of the County of Tuapeka and the Boroughs of
Lawrence, Roxburgh and Tapanui, in place of Mr C. E.
Forsyth, deceased.

Declaring Land Taken, Subject to Mining Rights and Fencing
Agreements, for the Generation of Electricity in the
Borough of Huntly

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that,
a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into,
the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken,
subject as to the land firstly described to the mining rights
created by transfer 235312 and the fencing agreement contained in the said transfer 235312 and as to the land secondly
described to the mining rights created by transfer 230944
and the fencing agreement contained in the said transfer
230944, South Auckland Land Registry, for the generation
of electricity from and after the 11th day of September 1975.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

All that piece of land containing 1.6288 hectares situated in
Blocks XI and XII, Rangiriri Survey District, Borough of
Huntly, being part Lot 7, D.P. 21337; as shown on plan

Hamilton.

Also, all that piece of land containing 4 acres and 31.6
perches situated in the Borough of Huntly, being part Lot 1,
D.P. 21336, and being part Allotment 2, Parish of Taupiri,
excepting thereout all coal, fireclay, and other minerals in,
upon or under the said land. All certificate of title, Volume

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of
Works and Development hereby (a) declares that, sufficient
agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil
conservation and river control purposes from and after
the 11th day of September 1975; and (b) further declares
the land described in the said Schedule to be Crown land
subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 11th day of
September 1975.
